Hydrate

LING Hydrators are formulated with active ingredients to provide deep hydration to the lower layers of the skin. When used morning and night, LING Hydrators are able to provide the skin with an essential layer of moisture, preventing dehydration and resulting in softer, more youthful skin. Hydrating the skin is also a great way to fight premature aging as surface dehydration leads to fine lines which eventually turn into wrinkles. When the surface of the skin becomes dehydrated, oil glands can become very active to try and compensate for the lack of moisture in the skin. Therefore, oily skin can sometimes be due to extreme dehydration. When the skin is dehydrated, the surface becomes very tight and the oil being produced by the over active oil glands can get trapped, causing clogged pores. Dehydration makes these blockages very difficult and painful to remove during a facial, but a thorough pore cleaning is necessary to resuscitate dehydrated skin. In addition, dehydration may also lead to increased sensitivity, redness, large pores, blackheads, acne breakouts and premature aging. Severe dehydration can also cause the skin to crack, leaving open wounds on the surface that could leave marks when healed.
