Rosacea
Rosacea is an inflammatory skin disease that causes redness and can get worse over time if left untreated. It begins with the flushing of the face (blushing), goes into dilation of superficial blood vessels on the face then becomes red domes papules.
Rosacea is caused by hereditary and environmental factors including: exposure to extreme temperatures, strenuous exercise, heat from sunlight, severe sunburn, stress and cold wind. They can also be heightened by alcohol consumption and the intake of spicy foods.
It is first important to treat the skin for dehydration, and then focus on deep cleansing and balancing. Once the skin is balanced, treatments and products will be more efficient without irritation.
